Hanukkah 2020

Celebrate the joyous Jewish holiday of Hanukkah with this colorful Forever stamp. The digital illustration depicts the lighting of a nine-branched hanukiah on the final evening of the holiday. All eight Hanukkah candles are burning as a child reaches up to replace the shamash, the helper candle used to light the others. Dark blue tones symbolize winter, while the brightly colored flames evoke the warmth and spirit of sharing holiday traditions. Art director Ethel Kessler designed the stamp with original artwork by Jing Jing Tsong. Issued in 2020 in panes of 20, this Forever stamp is always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
