Christmas Carols 2017

Celebrate the holiday season with the Christmas Carols Forever stamps. Four colorful designs illustrate themes from the beloved songs “Jingle Bells,” “Deck the Halls,” “Silent Night,” and “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas,” with familiar lyrics appearing across each stamp. Shades of blue evoke the evening settings of the carols, while festive images include a horse-drawn sleigh, holiday treats, a peaceful lamb beneath a shining star, and Santa Claus. Howard E. Paine served as art director, and Steve McCracken created the original artwork. Issued in 2017 in booklets of 20 containing five of each design, these Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
