Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, the iconic fantasy role-playing game that has inspired generations of creativity and adventure. The pane of 20 features 10 designs depicting a bronze dragon and plesiosaur, the five-headed Tiamat, a figure lost in a maze, a spellcaster using magic missile, the archlich Acererak, heroic ranger Drizzt Do’Urden, a warrior battling a red dragon, a character holding green dragon’s blood, a death knight riding a nightmare, and a fearsome purple worm. The selvage shows adventurers confronting a massive green dragon, along with a gold 20-sided die, the D&D logo, and a hand-drawn dungeon map. Greg Breeding designed the stamps using existing artwork from Wizards of the Coast. Issued in 2024, these Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
