Autumn Colors 2024

Issued on August 16, 2024, in Hartford, Connecticut, the Autumn Colors Forever stamps celebrate the radiant beauty of fall with 10 photographs by renowned nature and garden photographer Allen Rokach (1941–2021). Presented twice in a pane of 20, the images capture autumn landscapes from locations across the United States in brilliant shades of orange, red, yellow, vermilion, ocher, violet, and cobalt. Several photographs display the impressionistic quality Rokach called the “Rokach effect.” USPS art director Ethel Kessler designed the stamps using Rokach’s existing photographs.
