Title IX 2022

Commemorate the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the civil rights law prohibiting sex discrimination in educational programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance. The four stamp designs feature dark blue profiles of female athletes—a runner, swimmer, gymnast, and soccer player—with yellow laurel branches symbolizing victory and “Title IX” appearing across their cheeks as an empowering message about the inclusion of women and girls in all educational settings.
