Goodnight Moon 2025

Celebrate the enduring charm of Goodnight Moon, the beloved picture book written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd. First published in 1947, the quiet bedtime story invites children into the cozy bedroom of a young bunny saying goodnight to everything in sight. The pane of 16 Forever stamps features eight vibrantly colored details from the original illustrations, while a reproduction of the book’s cover fills the center and a black-and-white rendering of the bedroom appears on the back. Art director Derry Noyes designed the pane using Clement Hurd’s existing artwork. Issued in 2025, these Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
